Hi, I’m Amber — wife, mama, and the founder of Del Carmen Glow.

I grew up in a small town in Western New York. At sixteen, I visited my older sister in East Tennessee and immediately fell in love — the mountains, the slower pace, the feeling of home. Something in me knew this was where I was meant to plant roots.

At twenty years old, with my firstborn just six months old, I made the decision to leave my entire family in New York and move to Tennessee to be closer to my sister. Our bond has always been strong, and I wanted to build my life near the person who had walked beside me through so much. My twenties were spent raising my three beautiful children and building a life from the ground up.

At thirty, life shifted, and I entered a season of resilience. For a few years, it was about working hard, raising my babies, and taking life one day at a time. In 2021, I felt called to move back closer to my sister and the small Tennessee town that had always felt like home. Purchasing my house just outside of Knoxville wasn’t the end of that season — but it was a decision rooted in stability, intention, and the desire to build something lasting for my family.

In late 2023, I met my husband, and we were married shortly after. Building a relationship grounded in love and steadiness brought a new kind of calm into my life. Watching him pour time into sports — something he genuinely loves — reminded me how important it is to nurture your own passions. That encouragement sparked the beginning of Del Carmen Glow — something creative, comforting, and truly mine.

The name “Del Carmen” holds deep personal meaning to me, woven into the foundation of this brand and the family at the center of my life. Motherhood has shaped so much of who I am, and each of my children inspires the warmth and intention behind what I create.

From warm kitchens and baking memories,
from quiet evenings after sunset,
from open windows and fresh starts.

I’ve always believed that home should feel safe, welcoming, and full of light. Now, through hand-poured candles and small-batch bath essentials, I get to create that feeling for others.

Del Carmen Glow is more than a collection of products. It is a reflection of my journey — from a small-town girl in New York to building a life, a home, and a brand rooted in comfort and intention in Tennessee.

While Del Carmen Glow began with a simple idea, it grew through the encouragement and steady support of those closest to me. What started as a personal passion was strengthened by my husband, my children, my sister, and the community that believed in me long before this ever launched.
